The name Aja LaGrand Blount is a one of a kind name. When coupled with the creative spirit & mindset to elevate to levels unknown, he steps into the literacy world to sprinkle it with something unique & grand.

His tales aren’t your average reads. From the first page, he grips you by the throat, advises you to fork over your last for the minimum amount of oxygen then shortchanges you into submission.

This analogy is quite similar to the rollercoaster ride you would endure when traveling the sharp twists, the rapid turns, & the unbelievable endings he presents.

It was not until after being laid off from a major company that Johnson asked God what it is that He would have her to do for her career. The very short answer that she received was write. She looked around the room to see whom it was that God was talking to while hoping that He would elaborate on that brief answer.

Johnson has written and published Holiday Mayhem, Survivor Seduction Aboard the SS Sunshine, and Life’s Song a Miracle. With Peace in The Storm Publishing she published Torn. Torn 2 will be out soon. With Imani Faith Publishing she published Powerful Woman Where Does Your Power Come From?

April has been writing poems and short stories since she was in elementary school. It truly started after having open heart surgery, because she felt alone and isolated. April really felt like a monster with this keloid scar. She really didn’t think she was like everyone else for six months. She broke out of that phase and became a social butterfly again.

She started doing more stories and poems in high school. If it wasn’t for that pen and paper, she would have went crazy. She started doing sexual poems in the 10th grade. She started writing poems for others to show to their significant other.

Sadly for her, she was on the wrong birth control, which led to depression. She was in an abusive relationship at the time. They ended things, but she thought he would be the only man to love her so she took the abuse even after they broke up. She continued on and got her bachelor’s, but she didn’t get any jobs in the field she went to school for. So, she was doing small internships and temporary jobs.

Finally, her friends encouraged her to write again and get her frustrations out. At the time there was a possibility of uterine cancer, she was reluctant to think anything would come out of anything she would produce. She just thought it would be a failure. But, she kept writing.

Fast forward to present, she has a three book series. She is doing website design and is a manager. As a result of all the crazy things that happened to her, she was able to publish her children and utilize her degree. She wouldn’t be here without God and her faith. There is light even when you are in complete darkness. Writing is her craft and maybe one day her livelihood.

SAMARA KING is the author of sexy contemporary romance and romantic suspense. Writing romance has been woven into Samara’s world since her days of sneaking to the back of the library in grade school…of course, at some point, there was studying (usually after the end of a chapter.) When not dreaming up her latest hero who may or may not resemble the likes of Morris Chestnut, Channing Tatum or the latest MUST-HAVE-HIM archetype, Samara can be found jamming out to music, sipping on her favorite drink: cinnamon coffee or if the mood calls for it — because let’s get real — often life requires Moscato while watching This Is Us, shopping for plants she cannot kill, and dancing.

Currently, she writes for multiple publishers, including her own imprint Crave. Previously, Samara cohosted SoundNOff, a poetic format for poets and spoken word artists and hosted InCharacterN10, a former showcase for authors on Blogtalkradio. Her well-received poetry collection, The Ebony Kryptonite preceded her poetic EP, Stripped Barefoot, a sultry mix of poetry and spoken word, which went on to reach #20 in Chicago’s Top 40 on Reverbnation in September 2013.

Samara resides in the Midwest, mixing city life with her family…and characters who never sleep.

Victor Alexander is an African America man born in the Southern United States. Though it’s difficult to pinpoint when he first started writing stories, the first of his works to be published was a short historical fiction piece added to a collection of short stories released in 2008 (under a different name). That same year, Victor picked up a hobby of writing erotic fiction short stories, just a way to pass time between undergraduate school and part-time jobs in factories and on car lots.

During college, Victor was first exposed to the world of BDSM through social interactions with peers and a few romantic relationships. Hesitant at first, he ignored most things about it but later got into the Lifestyle after his curiosity was piqued enough, and a bit of trial and error eventually showed he fit the mold of a Caretaker Dominant. His erotic fiction began to change in order to reflect this new interest, evolving with his experiences. In 2013, shortly after leaving college, Victor began posting some of his erotic short stories to his blog “I write Sinful Travesties” (a name he remains surprised wasn’t taken by the time he began blogging), and built up a following with his uniquely affectionate BDSM shorts that read like slice-of-life fiction with the added twists of ropes and handcuffs.

Victor Alexander dreamed up his first novel series in 2015, as a response to what he saw as a lack of black love stories that portrayed BDSM in a positive light. He planned it out over the course of 4 months, putting out short bits of erotica fiction on his blog to keep interest and to pass the time, then set to work writing 3,000 words a day minimum. Despite the stress and depression of his father having a lengthy battle with cancer, from which he passed away in November of 2016, Victor’s manuscript of his first full-length novel was completed by December that same year. Thus was born “Within the Frame”: a series designed to highlight black love in BDSM circles while talking about other social issues ranging from mental health to corporate malaise, and more.

Over the years, Victor has created numerous short stories, many of which were posted on his blog but later removed by the author himself during a bit of an emotional doldrums. As the list of stories grew, he decided to compile some personal favorites (after a bit of editing) into a series of collections. Thus was born the “Tales from the Toy Box” series, as a sort of running companion to “Within the Frame”.

For both series, Victor uses self-taught photo editing techniques to create the covers of each book.
