Book Review: Revenge by India Lindsey

Hello book lovers! Happy Friday! I had the pleasure of reading a novel by Author India Lindsey and I wanted to share my review with you all. I really enjoyed this story and I recommend that you all check it out. Revenge is an African American Urban Romance Novel. So, without further ado, here is my review! By the way, I love this book cover!

I loved the way India told this story. It was a very good read that had my focus from the very beginning. It flowed perfectly, very descriptive and I enjoyed the point of views from each character. This is the very 1st book I’ve read by India and it definitely won’t be my last. My favorite character throughout the entire story was Nyla, even though she was as selfish as they come. Motivational Quote: Persistence

Jim Watkins Quote

I love to motivate and encourage others to be great at whatever their heart desires, to reach their goals, and to accomplish their dreams. With that being said, I decided to incorporate that into this blog. How? I will post an inspirational and/or motivational quote every Monday. My objective is to help motivate and encourage YOU! Who knows, it may be something you just need to hear (read) to make your day!

“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.” – Jim Watkin

Persistence means to NEVER EVER GIVING UP!!! Keep pushing forward toward what you set out to achieve despite what you are faced with, encounter and are challenged by.

My message You can do anything you set your mind to, overcome any dilemma you may face and walk through your journey, achieving all you ever hoped for and more. Your dreams, aspiration and goals can be achieved, you just need to remain persistence against all odds. Never give up on yourself and never depend on anyone else, other than God. You’ve got this. Rainy days don’t last always. The sun will shine bright again. Be blessed! ~ Vaneka

Dealing With Loss: Vaneka’s Musings

Mary Ileen Taylor

Good morning book lovers! How have your Monday been thus far? I do apologize for not making a blog post last week. It was a very difficult time for me. My grandmother had passed away Friday, October 6th and her homegoing service was Thursday, October 12th. My grandmother and I were really close and I took it pretty hard. Although I miss her dearly and wish she could still be here, I’m happy that she’s finally at peace and is no longer in pain. She was a sweet and kind woman who lived a long, good life.
